During the recent groundbreaking for ABC's new $3 million Scholars College to the west of the historic Old Main, President Dr. Fitz Hill named Ray Higgins and Charles Ray as "instrumental and important to the growth and future of ABC." Dr. Hill explained to the crowd that the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship's move to the campus had helped others see the potential of redevelopment in the area.

Dr. Hill invited the group to the dedication of the CBF-supervised renovation of the Leadership House at 1616 W. 18th. Again he expressed the success of the two groups working together. After a ribbon cutting the building was opened to the public and will house the Our Kids mentoring project and other programs.
