to volunteer for one of the teams at the CBF General Assembly.

Arkansas Travelers

From April 30 until May 4, a short-term
ministry team from CBF of Arkansas joined us
for a ministry vision trip to Slovakia. In
addition to learning first-hand about the
ministry, they ministered at Cinobana Roma
Mission and the Baptist mission in Presov. We
look forward to how God is going to open the
doors of a long-term partnership between CBF
of AR, Lucenec Baptist Church, and the
Cinobana Roma Mission!

NEW BAPTIST COVENANT

15,000 Baptists from 30 Baptist conventions and organizations, all affiliated with the North American Baptist Fellowship, met for two days in Atlanta to apply Jesus’ Nazareth Manifesto (Luke 4:18-19) to everyday life and to reverse the 163 year old divide that occurred among Baptists a decade before the Civil War. Two former U.S. presidents (Jimmy Carter & Bill Clinton), a former Vice President (Al Gore), and a popular novelist (John Grisham), all progressive Baptists, made presentations to the gathering.
