Ray Higgins has served as coordinator for CBFAR since 2005. He's married to Judy and has two sons in college, Adam and Ryan. Ray grew up in El Dorado, AR, and is a 1977 graduate of University of Arkansas, having earned a B.A. in Philosophy. He later earned an M. Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1980 and a Ph. D in Religion/Christian Ethics from Baylor University in 1990. Ray has served in a variety of ministry positions -- youth minister, special projects coordinator, seminary ethics professor, and pastor. He is active in race relations initiatives, serves on the medical ethics teaching team at UAMS in Little Rock, has taught ethics in Mexico City and Canada, Ouachita Baptist University & Truett Seminary, has led mission trips to China & Slovakia, and is an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan.

Charles Ray has served as CBFAR Special Projects Coordinator and CBF National Disaster Response Coordinator since 2005. He was born in Springfield, MO, and grew up in Little Rock, AR, only a few blocks away from the CBFAR offices on the campus of Arkansas Baptist College. Charles has led in a variety of ventures, including starting a successful business while still in college, serving as Arkansas Finance Chairman for the Democratic National Committee, and later renovating condemned, historic buildings in downtown Little Rock and designing a prototype shower trailer CBF disaster response. Charles continues to use his skills in renovating historic buildings through the CBFAR parternship with Arkansas Baptist College by overseeing ABC's historic home renovations. He enjoys classical music and is a loving and devoted father.

Chrystal Ball has served as administrative assistant for CBFAR since 2007. She has lived all over the South and now calls Little Rock home. She graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2003 with a B. S. E. in Early Childhood Education and a college sweetheart, Richard, to whom she's been married since 2004. They have two sons, Ethan and Logan. Chrystal especially loves working with children and is passionate about promoting literacy. She has served kids in a variety of ways, including teaching Sunday school, working as a camp counselor and children's library assistant, and volunteering in public schools in both central Arkansas and in the Arkadelphia community. She has also previously worked as a church secretary and enjoys helping ministers stay organized.
