New Millennium Church, New Church Start in Little Rock

New Millennium Church, led by Rev. Wendell Griffen, held its inaugural worship service on Sunday, June 1st. NMC is sharing the church campus with Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church in Little Rock.

NMC is dually aligned with the National Baptist Convention U.S.A., Inc. and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. Worship time is 9:00am each Sunday morning at Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church, 21 Lakeshore Drive, Little Rock.

Rev. Griffen says of New Millennium Church, "Membership in New Millennium is open to any person who desires to follow Jesus in a covenantal relationship with other followers of Jesus and in obedience to God's love as demonstrated in the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus. At New Millennium, we worship God weekly at 9 a.m. each Sunday at 21 Lakeshore Drive. Yet, we serve God constantly wherever and however we can demonstrate God's love for all people and our creation as did Jesus."

Rev. Griffen asks for prayer for New Millennium Church as "we live out God's love and truth in our time and place. At New Millennium, we still believe that the word must become flesh. Thus, we Live in the Power of God's Love, and Love in the Hope of God's Joy."
